Beautiful and rare LONGINES LINDBERGH " Angle Hour watch ", reference 989.5216, 18k yellow gold case, this is the first re-edition of the Lindbergh models made in the 1990s. Case in 18k yellow gold (750 / °°), with external rotating ring in yellow gold, double caseback, the external one in yellow gold with hinge, the internal one in yellow gold with transparent porthole. Original two-tone white and gray dial, internal rotating disc (hour angle), indexes printed with Roman numerals and colored scales for route calculations. Mechanical movement with automatic winding Caliber Longines L989.2 fully functional. Original Longines Lindbergh strap in light colored leather, used and generic brown leather strap, new mounted on the watch. Original Longines Lindbergh buckle laminated in yellow gold. Used watch, in exceptional conservation conditions, original in every part and fully functional. Sold with Generic box from our shop.

Case: in four parts, entirely in 18k yellow gold (750 / °°). External ring in 18k yellow gold, bidirectional rotating with slide rule engraved with black and green numbers, double caseback, the external one in yellow gold with hinge, the internal one in yellow gold with transparent porthole and visible movement. The case back has the following engravings on the inside: Longines Hour angle Watch - designed by Col. Charles A. Lindbergh - 18k gold stamp - 750 / °° - 5/10 - cashier stamp (221) - Minerva head punch to distinguish 18k gold case made in Switzerland - waterresistant - Swiss made - reference 989.5216 - serial number. Original onion crown, button at 4 o'clock for opening the case back. Case dimensions: diameter 38mm (excluding crown) x 43mm (from handle to handle). The general storage conditions of the case are exceptional, with no obvious signs showing that the watch has been worn very little. Presence of oxides outcrop on the whole case to demonstrate the total lack of restorations or polishing.

Dial: original and perfect two-tone white ceramic and silver. Rotating silver internal disc (hour angle) through the crown, indexes printed in black with Roman numerals. Presence of numerous colored scales for the various route calculations. At 12: Longines writing, at 6: Swiss made;

Movement: mechanical with automatic winding Caliber Longines L989.2, 25 jewels, exceptionally preserved and fully functional;

Glass: original flat mineral;
