IWC - International Watch Company - LIMITED NUMBERED EDITION - "MARK XII - GL (Giorgio Latuada) reference IW3242-02. Splendid and rare military-type men's watch with waterproof titanium case, produced in a limited series of 100 numbered examples in 1997 /1998.

NOTE: Giorgio Latuada and Emilio Fontana were IWC's two importing partners for Italy until 2001, the year in which the maison was acquired by the Richemont group. The two partners ordered two numbered seiers of 100 pieces each, one marked GL (Giorgio Latuada) and one marked EF (Emilio Fontana).

Original crown with fish, screw-down caseback. Dark blue / black dial with gray indexes and graphics, steel spheres with luminous treatment. Self-winding mechanical movement, IWC calibre, ETA 37522 base. Domed sapphire mineral glass. Original watch in every part and in exceptional condition, general storage conditions as NEW STOCK. Placed on sale with the following kit:

- original IWC black box, complete with original box cover;

- vintage IWC-branded brown crocodile strap, complete with original steel buckle, original IWC tag with reference 3242-002 and special Latuada model writing;

- guarantee of originality and correct functioning issued by our shop with generic box from our shop;

Year: Produced in 1997 / 1998;

Case: Two-part titanium waterproof with screw-down caseback. Original crown with little fish. The external case back features: case number and indication of the limited series number 69/100. Case dimensions: diameter 36 mm (excluding crown) x 44 mm (from lug to lug). The case is in perfect general condition and free of defects;

Dial: original, very dark blue color (difficult to distinguish from black), with Arabic numeral indexes and gray printed graphics, luminous cursors at 3-6-9-12 o'clock, steel spheres with luminous treatment, gray central seconds spheres . Date window at 3 o'clock with quick return from the crown. At 12 o'clock the peculiarity of the writing GL (initials of Giorgio Latuada);

Mechanics: self-winding mechanical movement, IWC caliber ETA 37522 base, intact and in perfect working order;
