( SOLD IN ITALY ) CYMA English military watch assigned to G.S.T.P. During the Second World War

Rare CYMA pocket military watch assigned and used by G.S.T.P. English - Assignment references in the outer case G.S.T.P. General Service Timepiece - Temporary Patern (temporary use), used by the British army during the war period of the Second World War (1939 - 1945). Ceramic dial in white color exceptionally preserved and free of dents and felatures. Indices with alternating black and luminescent Arabic numerals. Original burnished iron spheres. Case in rhodium-plated metal with snap-in back in very good condition of conservation and with references of assignments engraved on the external case-back. Perfectly functioning.

Age: used in the Second World War, period 1939 - 1945.

Case: rhodium-plated metal in three bodies, snap closure. The outer case presents the assignment references: broad arrow - G.S.T.P. (General Service Timepiece - Temporary Patern) - T 6091. The inner case has the following incisions: Swiss made - serial number and probably reference. CASE DIMENSIONS: net diameter 52 mm (excluding crown). Original onion crown and ring. The box is in excellent general conditions of conservation with normal signs of time that can be assessed in photographs that are all real, also has not had restorations maintaining the original state of conservation as would be desirable in the military assignment watches;

Dial: white ceramic, well preserved, free of cracks, fissures or traces of restorations. Graphic printed in black with Arabic numerals, alternating black and bright. Original burnished iron spheres. The luminous treatment of indexes and spheres has some deficiencies that can be assessed in the picture, but is completely original and has not undergone any kind of restoration or retouching;

Movement: original, mechanical with manual winding marked CYMA, perfectly functional;
