ELGIN military pocket watch presumably dating back to the 30s-40s of American production, without references. Waterproof case in nickel-plated metal, with screw-closed bezel and case back. Original black dial with luminous Arabic numeral hour markers, double sword spheres painted in white and treated with luminous material, white printed graphics and railroad type minuterie. Regular punches of the manufacturer on case and mechanics. Watch in excellent general condition, in its original state of conservation as befits military watches.
Age: presumably dated between the end of the 1930s and the early 1940s, and dating back to the Second World War;
Case: waterproof case in nickel-plated metal, screwed two-step bezel. Screw-down case back, the internal side has the following engravings: Keystone - metal base - manufacturer's hallmark - cased and times by Elgin National Watch C ° - serial number. The case is in excellent condition, with signs of aging in the nickel plating, it has not been restored and is in its original condition as befits military watches. Case dimensions: diameter 52 mm excluding crown;
Dial: original in black with luminous indexes with Arabic numerals, sword spheres (double sword) painted in white and treated with luminous material, white printed graphics and railroad type minuterie. Excellent general conditions of conservation;
Movement: original, mechanical manual winding marked ELGIN National Watch C ° - U.S.A., perfectly functional;
Glass: plastic.
