PHILIP WATCH "Caribbean 1500" rare reference 715-1. Originally diver tested at a depth of 1000 meters (3300 ft). It is a particularly rare version with an orange bakelite dial and bezel and buckshot indexes. With large diameter steel monobloc case and mineral glass and original crown with screw-locked Philip Watch logo. Watch in conservation conditions, really excellent, never polished, in its original state of conservation, just subjected to a complete overhaul by our trusted laboratory, equipped with a vintage black rubber strap, Tropic sport type, with vintage steel buckle. , like Tropic.

Period: presumably late 1960s;

Case: monobloc steel, well preserved. On the outer caseback are still perfectly legible: fish - Caribbean logo - triple safe - Philip Watch writing - patents and reference 715/1 - full steel - Swiss made - super waterresistant - automatic. Screw-down crown in steel with Caribbean logo. Date window at 3 o'clock. Case dimensions: diameter 40mm (excluding crown and shoulders - 42mm bezel width) x 45mm (from handle to handle). The case is in excellent storage conditions, never polished with original sharp edges and satin finishes, modest signs of use.

Glass: convex mineral, original with very slight age-related cracks (the watch is waterproof but not guaranteed underwater);

Bezel: original in orange bakelite, bidirectional rotatable, with large triangle at 12 o'clock, in exceptional condition;

Dial: original and in excellent storage conditions, iridescent orange color, date window at 3 o'clock, oversized tritium buckshot indexes with beautiful natural yellow color change. Black hands with tritium treatment, original arrow-shaped hour hands, lolly pop seconds hand. Graphic printed in black, at 12 o'clock: Philip Watch written - automatic.
