GALLET rare "mini-chronograph" wristwatch in Staybrite steel - Excelsior Park caliber - 1940s

GALLET rare mini-chronograph with two counters from the 1940s. Tonneau-shaped case in Staybrite steel, regularly stamped and numbered. Original silver dial with luminous Arabic numeral indexes and sword-shaped hands in burnished steel with luminous treatment. Manually wound mechanical movement, Excelsior Park caliber 42 with 17 jewels, perfectly working as a watch and as a chronograph. Watch in excellent general condition, original in every part and offered for sale with the following accessories:

- modern strap in genuine brown lizard, with 14mm lug in the XL version suitable for men's wrists;

- guarantee of originality and correct functioning issued by our shop and generic box from our shop;

Case: tonneau-shaped in Staybrite steel, in two parts with snap-lock caseback. Inside we find the following engravings: Gallet & C° - Swiss - acier inoxidable - staybrite - serial number 752751. Original winding crown. Case dimensions: diameter 30mm (excluding crown) x 37mm (from lug to lug). Case in more than excellent general condition, never restored and offered in its original condition;

Dial: original silvery color with two counters, with uniform and very pleasant patina of time, more accentuated between 2 and 4 o'clock. Luminous radio indexes with Arabic numerals, sword-shaped spheres in burnished steel with partial luminous treatment. Graphics printed in black. At 12 o'clock: Gallet writing. At 6 o'clock: Swiss;

Mechanics: beautiful shaped movement, manual winding mechanical caliber Excelsior Park "42" with 17 jewels, perfectly functioning as a watch and as a chronograph;

Glass: plastic;
