GIRARD PERREGAUX "GYROMATIC - DEEP DIVER" rare diving watch originally tested at 200m, produced in the late 1960s, with large diameter steel case with "SUPER COMPRESSOR" patent, with screw-down caseback and original double crowns. Splendid original two-color blue and white dial, rectangular indexes with tritium treatment, polished steel spheres with luminous treatment, central seconds sphere in polished steel with luminous slider. Girard Perregaux Gyromatic 461-653 caliber with 17 rubies, numbered and hallmarked. Domed mineral glass. Watch in very good storage conditions, never restored, polished or reconditioned, sold in its original state of conservation, fully functional, complete with handcrafted black leather 22mm Rallye strap, new.

Age: presumably late 1960s;

Case: in two parts with screw-down caseback. The outer caseback has a trident on a wave background and the word deep diver, demonstrating the state of conservation the inscriptions are still perfectly legible: stainless steel - waterproof 20 ATM - scratchproof chrystal. Original winding crown at 4 o'clock with GP logo and anti-slip grid, crown at 2 o'clock for the rotation of the internal bezel, original with anti-slip grid and without GP writing (as it should be). Case dimensions: net case diameter 40 mm (excluding crowns) x 43 mm (from handle to handle);

Dial: original, and very pleasant with beautiful patina of the two-color times, blue / green and white. Internal rotating bezel via the crown at 2 o'clock, graduated for decompression times in black and white with 60-minute subdivision for decompression times. Oversized rectangular indexes, with tritium treatment which is naturally yellowed, polished steel spheres with tritium luminous treatment, central seconds hands in polished steel with luminous slider. Graphic printed in white at 12 o'clock written: Girard Perregaux and at 6 o'clock: Gyromatic - Swiss <25mc;
