( SOLD IN ITALY ) LE PHARE rare 200m diving chronograph with mechanical depth gauge – manual winding – 1970s

Le Phare rare 1970s professional underwater chronograph at 20 atm (200 meters - 600 feet) equipped with a mechanical depth gauge integrated into the glass (calibrated up to a depth of 100 metres). Mechanical movement with manual winding Valjoux 7733 caliber perfectly functional as a watch and as a chronograph. Waterproof steel case of considerable diameter with screw-locked steel crown. External orange/yellow bezel with indication of immersion depth in metres. Pleasant three-tone colored dial: black, orange and white. Extremely rare watch. Operation of the depth gauge: at 3 o'clock the glass has a hole through which, during immersion, the water enters and enters the internal glass tube, which follows the circumference of the same. Descending in depth, the water finds greater resistance to enter, therefore it advances inside the tube in an ever lesser way. The water that advances inside the tube is clearly visible externally from the glass, and the graduated external ring allows easy reading of the depth reached. Used watch in more than good general conditions of conservation, offered for sale with the following kit:

- generic perforated black leather strap as used at the time, complete with generic steel buckle;

- certificate of originality issued by our shop, generic box from our shop and 12 months guarantee on correct functioning, valid for 12 months from the date of sale;

Case: in steel in three bodies, screw-down case back and fixed external ring in yellow/orange aluminum with graphics printed in black with an indication of the meters of depth reached during the dive. Screw-locked steel maxi crown. Punched case back with perfectly legible writings: " tested 600 feet - 200 meters - water resistant - incabloc - Swiss made - stainless steel ". The internal case back features the serial number. Case dimensions: 42.5 mm (excluding crown) x 46.5 mm (from handle to handle). ;

Dial: splendid three-tone multicolor, matt black background, with white printed graphics, Le Phare writing at 12 o'clock, Incabloc writing - 17 rubis - T Swiss made at 6 o'clock. White counters tinged with cream with orange segments. Black internal bezel with tachymeter scale. Orange colored ring with open minute track printed in black. Steel indexes applied with tritium treatment, steel spheres with treatment

Movement: mechanical with manual winding Valjoux 7733 caliber, fully functional as a watch and as a chronograph;

Glass: original in plastic with integrated depth gauge, the glass has a slit at about 1 o'clock, which does not affect the depth gauge;
