Longines extremely rare chronograph in 750 / °° yellow gold, reference 3756 with manual winding mechanical movement, Longines 13ZN caliber. This chronograph features a beautiful and rare original two-tone dial with multicolor scales, customized for E. MARUZZI - ASMARA retailer. The watch accompanied by an archive extract and a letter from Longines certifying its originality and showing that the watch was delivered in 1937 to Ostersetzer who at the time was an importer for Italy and his colonies, including which the Eritre. Coin case in 18k yellow gold (750 / °°), with smooth and flat bezel and beautiful faceted lugs. Snap-on caseback with regular punches, with period crown and olive pushers. Hand-wound mechanical movement made by Longines, 13ZN caliber, in correct working order. The watch, original in every part and in general conditions of conservation more than excellent, is offered for sale with the following kit:

- Longines archive extract with reference and serial number, dated May 2020;

- supplementary letter from Longines, confirming the correspondence of the writing MARUZZI - ASMARA with the Longines registers;

- Vintage Longines box, worn but perfectly usable;

- Handcrafted strap in dark brown pig skin, uncut;

- rare vintage Longines yellow gold lamianta buckle;

Year: delivered in 1937 to Ostersetzer, importer for Italy and colonies in that period;

Case: coin-operated, 18k yellow gold (750 / °°), with flat smooth bezel and special faceted lugs. Vintage crown and olive chronograph pushers. Pressure-fit caseback with the following internal engravings: Longines - 18k gold punch - 750 / °° - Minerva head to distinguish 18k yellow gold case made in Switzerland - serial number and cashier hallmark. Case dimensions: 37 mm (excluding crown) x 43 mm (from handle to handle). The case is in excellent storage conditions, free of defects and with modest signs of use in consideration at the time;

Dial: original and particularly rare, with two tones of champagne-based color, tachymeter scales, multicolored telemetry. Graphic printed in black, with indexes printed with Arabic numerals and bar. Original sword-shaped balls in burnished steel. Graphic printed in black, at 12: written LONGINES - E. MARUZZI - ASMARA. At 6 o'clock: anti-magnetique;

Movement: mechanical with manual winding Longines 13ZN caliber, punched and numbered, original in every part and functioning as a watch and as a chronograph;
