LUCIEN PICCARD " WORLD TIME - WORLD TIME " automatic - 14k yellow gold coin case (585/°°) with dedication linked to the Tourè of the German musical group Kraftwerk dated 1975. Rare and interesting watch with incredible shaded blue dial divided into 12 time zones and with a map of part of the world (Americas - Europe - Africa and part of Asia) in relief in the three different colors of gold (white, yellow and red). 14kt yellow gold coin case (585/°°) with special locking system. Automatic mechanical movement with micro-rotor caliber LP Supreme 30 (base Buren 1280) in perfect working order. Watch in more than excellent general condition of conservation, offered for sale with the following accessories:

- new handmade strap in matte black Louisiana alligator, with generic yellow gold plated buckle;

Period: mid 70s;

Dial: original and very well preserved and extremely rare, with a shaded blue base with very light cracking visible only when backlit, divided into 12 time zones and with a map of part of the world (Americas - Europe - Africa and part of Asia) in relief in the three different colors of gold (white, yellow and red), the dial is divided into 12 time zones numbered in the upper part, while in the lower part we find the calculation indication (hours to be subtracted going West and to be added going East). Graphics printed in white and hours and minutes spheres in shiny yellow gold;

Case: yellow gold coin case. Closed with two screws on the case hidden between the lugs, at 12 and 6 o'clock. Original crown with sapphire cabochon. Inside we find the hallmarks of the 14k gold title (585/°°) - casemaker's hallmark and squirrel to distinguish Swiss 14k gold case. The outer case back features: Lucien Piccard logo and writing - 14k - patent pending - Switzerland - automatic and case number 49874. We also find customization with dedication "celebrating Kraftwerk 1975 american tour - your friend Ari. Case dimensions: diameter 34 mm (excluding crown) x 41 mm (from lug to lug). Case in more than excellent general condition of conservation;

Movement: automatic with micro-rotor, Lucien Piccard Supreme L.P. 30 caliber (Buren 1280 base) with 17 jewels and 19800 alt/h. Numbered, regularly stamped and perfectly functional as completely and professionally overhauled by our watchmaker);
