MOVADO reference 14733 - complete mini calendar with steel case and gilt dial - 1940s

Movado rare mini "complete calendar - date - day - month" reference 14733, with a splendid original gilt dial. Steel case with a net diameter of 30mm, with particular straight sloping lugs, smooth steel bezel. Original dial with black base and copper graphics, original rose gold spheres. Movado caliber with indication of hours, minutes, seconds, date, day and month in English. Watch in excellent condition, completely original, professionally serviced by our watchmaker and perfectly functional as a watch and in all its complications, offered for sale with the following accessories:

Age: presumably 1940s;

Case: steel in three parts with smooth bezel and snap-lock caseback. The caseback internally has the following hallmarks: old Movado logo (hand with watch) - stainless steel - Fab. Suisse – reference 14733 and serial number. On the case band, quick-set buttons, at 2 o'clock a quick-set month button, at 4 o'clock a quick-set date button. Distinctive straight sloping lugs. Case dimensions: net diameter 30 mm (excluding crown) x 36 mm (from lug to lug). The general condition of the case is excellent;

Dial: original, two-tone with black base and copper graphics. Printed copper-plated indexes with Arabic numerals, copper-plated peripheral calendar. Rose gold alpha-type hands. At 12 o'clock: Movado writing, at 3 o'clock: month window, at 6 o'clock: Swiss made and free seconds. At 9 o'clock: day window;

Mechanics: manual-winding mechanical movement, Movado caliber, with 15 jewels, with date, day, month and free seconds. Please remember that for the quick adjustment of the calendar functions (day, month and date, using the appropriate buttons on the case, you must first position the hour hand in the lower part of the dial, i.e. between 3 and 9 o'clock). Mechanics in perfect working order as a watch and in its complications, as it has been completely and professionally overhauled by our watchmaker;

Strap: in dark brown lizard, new and of modern production with generic buckle in vintage steel;

Glass: plexy;
