NOTE: Andrew Grima was the most influential jewellery designer of the post-war period. He changed the way people perceived jewellery not only in Britain but around the world and as a result is widely regarded as the father of modern jewellery. By the mid-1960s Grima had become the doyen of British jewellery design, the royal and society jeweller of the era. He is the only jeweller to have received the Duke of Edinburgh's Prize for Elegant Design. He has won the De Beers Diamonds International Award (the Oscars of jewellery design) a record 11 times. In 1969, he was commissioned by Omega to create one of the most extravagant and daring watch collections ever made.

Case: rectangular shape with rounded corners, in two parts with a pressure-fit case back. Casemaker's hallmark stamped on the case band at 9 o'clock. The inner case back bears the regular Omega hallmarks - 18k gold title hallmarks (750/°°) - Minerva head hallmark to distinguish the 18k gold case of Swiss production, reference 121 and case number. Case dimensions: diameter 32mm (excluding crown) x 32mm (from lug to lug). The case is in exceptional condition, perfect with the original protective plastic, purple in color applied to protect the case back;
Dial: original and fully functional, made with a sheet of solid 18k gold (750/°°), entirely worked with floral motifs, graphics printed in black;
Movement: mechanical automatic winding Omega caliber 620, numbered 32.450.406. intact and fully functional;
Glass: original Omega in diamond-faceted plexiglass, characteristic of the models designed by Andrew Grima;
