OMEGA "De Ville - ANDREW GRIMA" automatic - reference 121, very rare and elegant men's watch (unisex) with rectangular case in 18k yellow gold (750/°°) and incredible 18k yellow gold dial worked with floral motifs. REAL NEW STOCK produced in 1970. Original diamond-faceted crystal characteristic of the jewelry watches designed by the famous jewelry designer Andrew Grima. Mechanical manual winding movement Omega caliber 620 intact. Watch in exceptional overall condition of conservation as it is a REAL NEW STOCK from 1970, offered for sale with the following accessories:

NOTE: Andrew Grima was the most influential jewellery designer of the post-war period. He changed the way people perceived jewellery not only in Britain but around the world and as a result is widely regarded as the father of modern jewellery. By the mid-1960s Grima had become the doyen of British jewellery design, the royal and society jeweller of the era. He is the only jeweller to have received the Duke of Edinburgh's Prize for Elegant Design. He has won the De Beers Diamonds International Award (the Oscars of jewellery design) a record 11 times. In 1969, he was commissioned by Omega to create one of the most extravagant and daring watch collections ever made.

Year: the movement number 32.450.xxx, dates the construction of the watch to 1970;

Case: rectangular shape with rounded corners, in two parts with a pressure-fit case back. Casemaker's hallmark stamped on the case band at 9 o'clock. The inner case back bears the regular Omega hallmarks - 18k gold title hallmarks (750/°°) - Minerva head hallmark to distinguish the 18k gold case of Swiss production, reference 121 and case number. Case dimensions: diameter 32mm (excluding crown) x 32mm (from lug to lug). The case is in exceptional condition, perfect with the original protective plastic, purple in color applied to protect the case back;

Dial: original and fully functional, made with a sheet of solid 18k gold (750/°°), entirely worked with floral motifs, graphics printed in black;

Movement: mechanical automatic winding Omega caliber 620, numbered 32.450.406. intact and fully functional;

Glass: original Omega in diamond-faceted plexiglass, characteristic of the models designed by Andrew Grima;
