OMEGA Seamaster chronograph 120m/400ft "BIG BLUE" – reference 176.004, very rare 70s diving chronograph (the first automatic professional diving chronograph made by Omega). Large Flightmaster-type steel case, with external rotating bezel in blue Bakelite, graduated for decompression times. Original screw-locked crown and waterproof pump-type chronograph buttons. Screw-locked steel case back. Blue dial with luminous indexes and luminous baton hands (it comes with two dials, the mounted one is supplied and is perfect, the original brown/bronze dial with perfect graphics is also supplied). Automatic Omega caliber 1040 movement in perfect working order. Original bracelet reference 1162 with 172 ends. Original watch in every part and in more than good general condition of conservation, offered for sale with the following accessories:

Year: the movement number dates the production of this watch back to 1973;

Case: in three parts, in steel, external rotating bezel, with blue Bakelite insert with graduation for decompression times. Screw-down steel case back, externally we find the Omega logo, Seamaster writing and Seahorse, perfectly intact as the watch has never been polished. The internal case back has the regular Omega punches and the reference 176.004. Case dimensions: diameter 41 mm (excluding crown - 44 mm bezel diameter) x 52 mm (from lug to lug). The case is in more than good condition, original sunburst satin finishes with sharp edges, normal signs of use for 50 years of life, the fundamental thing is that the case has never been polished or restored;

Dial: the watch has a double dial, the dial noted is an official Omega dial and is perfect, the dial photographed separately is the original one, with tritium indexes, the blue has undergone a brown / bronze change, the white printed graphics are perfect and perfectly clear and without missing parts and can be reassembled if desired. The hands are all original tritium and have not undergone any retouching. The dial has the coaxial seconds and minutes counter with all 1040 calibers, at 6 o'clock we find the hour counter, while at 9 o'clock we find the free seconds and the additional dial with 24 hour indication;

Glass: original mineral with some signs;

Movement: automatic mechanical Omega caliber 1040 perfectly functioning as a watch and in its complications;

Bracelet: original marked with Omega logo on the box, internally we find the regular Omega punches and the reference 1162 (correct for this model), original 172 ends. The bracelet is in more than good condition and is complete with all the links so it is also suitable for generous wrists;
