OMEGA SEAMASTER ref. 2849 - waterproof watch with rare GILT dial - EXCEPTIONAL condition - made in 1960

OMEGA "Seamaster" reference 2849.9 SC, waterproof steel case, with a splendid and rare original and exceptionally preserved GILT - SPYDER dial, produced in 1960. Applied yellow gold shield indexes surmounted by yellowed tritium pellets, steel alpha-type spheres with partial strongly yellowed luminous treatment. Pressure-sealed steel case back, original Omega Seamaster crown. Plastic crystal. Automatic mechanical movement Omega caliber 503 in perfect working order. Aesthetically striking watch in unique general condition, offered for sale with the following accessories:

- new generic dark brown lizard strap, with generic steel pin buckle;

- guarantee of originality and correct functioning issued by our shop;

Year: the movement number 17,079,593, dates the construction of the watch back to 1960;

Case: round steel in three parts, smooth bezel and pressure-sealed case back with the traditional beautiful wide lugs typical of these Seamaster models. Original steel crown for Omega Seamaster model. The case back has a hippocampus and the Seamaster - waterproof writings perfectly legible on the outside, internally we find the regular Omega punches - patent +316164 - reference 2849.9SC. Case dimensions: diameter 33mm (excluding crown) x 41mm (from lug to lug). The case is in truly exceptional condition, with truly modest signs of use;

Dial: original black, with gold graphics (gilt dial) with uniform craquelè (spyder dial) visible with a magnifying glass. Applied yellow gold shield indexes surmounted by tritium dots turned yellow, alpha-type spheres in excellent condition with partial tritium treatment also turned yellow (it has a small lack visible in the photo). Golden graphics;

Movement: mechanical hand-wound Omega caliber 503, numbered 17,079,593. Beautifully preserved and in perfect working order as it was completely and professionally overhauled by our watchmaker;
