Elegant and rare flying saucer case measuring 31mm in net diameter, with fixed lugs hidden under the case. Original salmon-colored dial, with patina of time, burnished steel wire hour and minute hands and small seconds at 6 o'clock. Manually wound mechanical movement regularly stamped and in perfect working order. Watch in general condition of conservation, offered for sale with the following accessories:
- custom-made hand-crafted strap for fixed lugs, made of black crocodile leather with a shiny finish, with matching stitching, complete with generic gold-plated buckle;
- written certificate of originality and correct functioning issued by our shop;
- generic box from our shop;
Period: presumably late 1930s early 1940s;
Case: elegant round "flying saucer" shaped case in three parts, entirely made of 18k rose gold (750/°°), with pressure-locked bezel and case back. The external case back features the Rolex logo and serial number still perfectly visible. The case back features the reference 3129 and the serial number externally. Internally it features the following hallmarks: Rolex - 31 victoires de haute precision - Geneve Suisse - SAR hallmark - 18k / 750/°° gold title hallmark with casemaker's hallmark and Minerva head to distinguish Swiss-made 18k gold cases. Case dimensions: diameter 31mm (excluding crown). The case is in excellent general condition of conservation;
Dial: original salmon color, with patina of time, burnished steel wire hour and minute hands and small seconds at 6 o'clock. Graphics printed in black, with closed minute track and Rolex - Chrometre writing at 12 o'clock;
Movement: Rolex manufacture with chronometer certification with 18 jewels. The mechanics have been completely and professionally overhauled by our watchmaker and keep time correctly;
