RARE ROLEX OYSTERDATE PRECISION, Ref. 6494, from 1957, beautiful Explorer original dial, with yellow gold hour markers and yellow gold leaf spheres. Roulette calendar with alternating red and black numbers. Watch in exceptional condition of conservation, original in every part and fully functional. Sold with original strap and marked Rolex in black lizard with 19mm handle and original Rolex steel buckle;

Age: produced in 1957;

Case: steel in three bodies with screw-locked back. The back has the following internal incisions: Montres Rolex S.A. - Geneva - Switzerland - patented - stainless steel - ref. 6494. Original crown with Rolex logo screwed tight. Case dimensions: 34mm (crown excluded) x 43mm (from handle to handle). Extremely rare watch, in exceptional general conditions of conservation, not polished or restored, in the original state of conservation.

Dial: original light color with light and uniform patina that gives a cream / ivory color. Rare graphics Explorer, with incenses with Arabic numerals applied in yellow gold at 6-9-12. Remaining triangle markers applied in yellow gold surmounted by small luminous dots. Leaf spheres in yellow gold. Date window at 3 o'clock with alternating red and black roulette numbers. Graphic printed in black, at 12: them and Rolex written in yellow gold, written Oyster date. At 6 o'clock: Precision - Swiss writing;

Movement: mechanical with manual winding, fully functional and completely original;

Glass: plastic, with a cyclopic lens.
