SEIKO rare "Speed-Timer - 5 SPORTS" chronograph reference 7017 - 6040 from the 1970s, 41mm oversized waterproof steel case, in excellent storage conditions, automatic movement, screw-down caseback and pump pushers. Original crown. Rare original dial in matt black / gray and with graduated bi-directional rotating internal bezel for decompression times. Steel balls with partial tritium treatment, double window with day and date indication. Rare original steel bracelet, reference XJA151, marked Seiko 5 Sports on the box. Uncommon reference with concave lugs. Completely original watch, with no supply parts, fully functional as a watch and as a chronograph in more than excellent general storage conditions.

Case: in steel in three parts, with concave lugs and screw-down caseback. The caseback has the following engravings: Seiko writing and logo - stainless steel - 7017 6040 - water resistant - serial number - Japan A. Original Seiko crown integrated into the middle case. Case dimensions: net diameter 41 mm (excluding crown) x 43 (from handle to handle);

Period: 1970s; Dial: original and not supplied, matt black / gray. Steel bar indexes applied with partial tritium treatment, steel balls treated with tritium. Graphic printed in white, at 12 o'clock: written SEIKO 5 SPORTS. At 3 o'clock: double window with day and date indication (with quick return from the crown).
