IGMA VALMON "REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE" particular pocket watch in 18k yellow gold with coin case, presumably from the 1950s

SIGMA VALMON - Geneve "REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE", interesting and rare coin pocket watch with 18k yellow gold case. The watch has a coin case, with a knurled side in 18l yellow gold (750/°°), on the front we find the writing: "LIBERTE - EGALITE - FRATERNITE", on the back we find the rooster symbol of the French Republic, the writing REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE - WHEN THE COQ CHANTERA MON AMOUR ENDS. Original bronze-colored dial, graphics printed in black, indexes applied to Arabic numerals and alpha-type yellow gold spheres. Manually wound mechanical movement. The watch has some dents visible in the photographs, otherwise the condition is excellent; is offered for sale with the following kit:

Period: presumably 50s / 60s;

Case: 18k yellow gold (750/°°) coin case, in two parts, fluted side. On the front we find the writing: "LIBERTE - EGALITE - FRATERNITE", on the back we find the rooster symbol of the French Republic, the writing REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE - QUAND CE COQ CHANTERA MON AMOUR FINIRA  Case dimensions:  net diameter 32.5mm (excluding crown). The case has never been restored or polished, it has some dents only on the case back concentrated on the outer edge and on the side, the front part is perfect. Internally we find the 18k gold hallmarks (750/°°);

Dial: Original bronze-coloured dial, graphics printed in black, indexes applied to Arabic numerals and alpha-type yellow gold spheres;

Movement: manual winding mechanical movement with 17 jewels, regularly hallmarked Sigma Valmon;

Glass: plastic;
