VETTA "STOP SECOND" reference 2315 rare chronograph with waterproof steel case - presumably produced in the 1950s. Oversized 37 mm case, with waterproof pump buttons and watertight case back. Original dial with patina of time, with applied yellow gold indexes and yellow gold spheres. Black printed graphics with colored tachometric and telemetric scales. Manually wound mechanical movement Vetta caliber 215 in perfect working order as a watch and as a chronograph.

Operation of the STOP SECOND chronograph: the central chronograph hand rotates continuously, pressing the button at 2 o'clock stops the clock to detect the time, releasing the button the hand restarts from the same point where it stopped. The button at 4 o'clock returns the central hand of the chronograph to 12 o'clock, releasing the button the hand starts again.

Case: oversize entirely in steel in three bodies, with steel case back tightened with a watertight snap, fixed smooth snap bezel. Waterproof pump buttons. On the external case back we find the writings: acier inoxidable and serial number 176 - reference 2315. Case dimensions: net diameter 37 mm (excluding crown) x 46 mm (from lug to lug). The case is in more than good general conditions of conservation;

Dial: original dial with silver base with uniform patina of time. Applied indexes in yellow gold alternating with bar and Arabic numerals, spheres in yellow gold, central chronograph sphere in black. Graphic printed in black with colored tachometric and telemetric scales At 12 o'clock and Vetta writing, at 6 o'clock anti-magnetic writing - Swiss Made;

Mechanics: manual winding mechanical, Vetta 215 caliber, perfectly working as completely and professionally overhauled by our watchmaker;
