VULCAIN "PORTUGUESE" huge aviator watch from the 1940s with a 42mm net diameter case. Nickel-plated metal case with numbered steel caseback and fixed lugs. Original silver dial with uniform patina of time, indexes printed with Arabic numerals and stick hands in burnished steel and black graphics. Splendid hand-wound mechanical movement with separate bridges, regularly marked Vulcain and in perfect working order. Used watch in more than good general storage conditions, offered for sale with the following kit:

Case:  in three parts in nickel-plated metal with pressure-closed steel caseback. The caseback has the following stamps externally: nickel chrome - fond acier inoxidable - case number. Case dimensions: Net diameter of the case 42 mm (excluding crown) x 48 mm (from lug to lug);

Dial: original silver with uniform patina of time, indexes printed with Arabic numerals and baton spheres in burnished steel and black graphics, at 3 o'clock a halo is visible with partial discoloration at the crown;

Movement: splendid hand-wound mechanical movement with separate bridges regularly marked Vulcain, in perfect working order as it has been completely and professionally serviced by our watchmaker;

Glass: plastic;
