ZAIS WATCH ANTI-MAGNETIQUE splendid and rare waterproof chronograph from the 1940s with steel case with screw-down caseback and waterproof pump (pin) buttons. Original two-tone silver dial with beautiful and uniform patina of age, with central spiral tachymeter scale printed in blue. Roman numeral hour markers printed in black, with burnished steel wire hands. Manually wound mechanical movement, Valjoux 22 caliber, in perfect working order as a watch and chronograph as it has been completely and professionally serviced by our watchmaker. Watch in excellent condition, general storage conditions, offered for sale with the following kit:

- excellent quality strap in natural color leather with contrasting white stitching and original 1940s steel buckle stamped "deposè" on the side;

- guarantee of originality and correct functioning, issued by our shop and generic box from our shop;

Period: 1940s;

Case: in steel with screw-locked back. Waterproof pump (pin) buttons. Elongated stepped handles. External case back with splendid engraved writings as used at the time: "waterproof - antimagnetic - shock protected - Swiss made - staybrite steel - serial number 2501". Case dimensions: net case diameter 38mm (excluding crown) x 45mm (from lug to lug). The case is in more than excellent conditions, in its original state of conservation, not polished or restored;

Dial: splendid original two-tone silver dial, with uniform and fascinating patina of time, indexes printed in black with Roman numerals, flush hands in burnished steel. Central spiral tachymeter scale printed in blue. At 12 o'clock: ZAIS WATCH writing printed in black, at 6 o'clock: "ANTI-MAGNETIQUE" writing and "Swiss made" writing;

Mechanics: manual winding mechanical caliber Valjoux 22, marked Zais watch on the bridge, perfectly functional as a watch and as a chronograph as it has been completely and professionally serviced by our watchmaker;
